Hello! My name is Ashley and I am Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) specialist here in Miami, Florida. I have over 10 years of experience working as a Massage Therapist where I have worked in post-surgery rehabilitation clinics, and also at medical spa centers.
I have helped hundreds of patients with esthetics, after surgery treatments (some cosmetic and some not), post operations, pre and post pregnancy treatments, and so much more.

Over the years, I have also been developing my own massage techniques based on a blend of my experience and massage techniques (swedish, acupressure, deep tissue, trigger point, lymphatic drainage) with my own unique of deep gliding rhythmic strokes associated to improve the lymphatic flow. I like to call this technique "Lipomassage", because it helps you lose inches around your body. Interested? Book an appointment and I can tell you all about it and more!

WHY POST OP TREATMENT?
An important aspect of any surgical procedure is the post-rehabilitation recovery process. It’s during this process that natural movement is re-learned, and freedom of movement is re-enforced. Post-Surgery Massage and Treatment play an important role as a supplement to standard rehabilitation procedures after surgery. My unique Post-Op Massage and Treatment is great in helping to bring blood and nutrients to the affected area to repair the soft tissue and prevent fibrosis. Treatment also can help break up scar tissue and keep the muscles supple so less scar tissue develops in the first place. By increasing circulation while relaxing the muscles, my massage and treatment techniques can help the body pump more oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs. This allows the surgical rehabilitating area(s) to become more flexible and heal at an accelerated rate

WHAT IS LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE (MASSAGES)?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage or Lymphatic Massage Therapy (MLD or LMT) is a specialized massage technique that is recommended by plastic surgeons, after cosmetic surgery, and for anyone seeking improvements with their body fluid balance, blood circulation, and immune functions.

The science behind why these massage techniques work is fairly simple. Stroking the areas of the body that process the lymph fluid, and the lymph nodes, causes the fluid to drain.

This massage procedure works well and has been demonstrated to show positive results after only a couple of treatments; however, most patients need 10 to 20 treatments to remove most of the excess fluid. Patients can expect noticeable relief from swelling after the 6th treatment.

Some patients will experience lumpiness in the areas affected by liposuction. This is normal for most patients after surgery. The lumpiness is caused by inflammation and trauma from the surgical instrument used under the skin to extract the fatty tissue. The tunnels and channels created by the surgical instrument fill with fluid and become swollen with fluid and left-over fat. This fluid and left-over fat tend to begin to harden between one week and three weeks after surgery. Lymphatic Massage will help move the fluid by gently pushing it back into the lymph passages.

Doctors may advise their patients that, without lymphatic massage, there is a risk that the swelling and inflammation could turn into fibrosis, which is a permanent hardening of the area. Lymphatic Massage ensures you’ll achieve the best results possible from the surgery.

WHAT IS CAVITATION?
Ultrasound Cavitation is safe and no it’s a painless treatment. Mild redness may appear occasionally but will be highly unlikely to cause any actual pain. The heat from the handpieces felt during the treatment is perfectly tolerable. This treatment is a nonsurgical procedure without anesthesia – it’s non-invasive and no downtime should be experienced after the treatment.

Ultrasound Cavitation converts fat cells into liquid which can then be naturally drained by the body’s lymphatic system. UC is an excellent treatment for customers that want to reshape the body to achieve cellulite reduction and fat loss for areas with localized fat such as: Thighs, Abdomen, Flanks, Buttocks.
For post-surgery clients, this treatment helps in the removal of scar tissue and smoothing of tissue.

WHAT IS WOOD THERAPY?
Intensify the breakdown of fat and fibrous cellulite, so that it can be eliminated naturally with other toxins. This technique employs repetitive movements using different wooden instruments to manipulate targeted areas of muscle, fat and cellulite, stimulating the lymphatic drainage system to remove unnecessary water, fat and toxins from the body. A series of 10-15 treatments is necessary to achieve the desired results.

Also it will tone, reduce, mold, and eliminate stored fat in different parts of your body. This practice of Wooden Therapy can also give natural buttocks lift without having costly, painful, or invasive plastic surgery. Helps break down hard stubborn fat making it softer and easier for me to melt the fact away during the treatment.
